How pip value works
A pip is the smallest standard move in a currency pair — 0.0001 for most pairs, or 0.01 for JPY pairs. Pip value is calculated as:
pip value = pip size × position size, then converted to your account currency
Example: 10,000 units (one mini lot) of EUR/USD → 0.0001 × 10,000 = $1 per pip in USD. If your account is in another currency, the result is converted at the current exchange rate.
